“I honestly cannot recommend Aleena highly enough. Reggie is a rescued German Shepherd with a history of reactivity and biting, so trusting somebody else with him is a really big deal for me. As I always do, I basically sold him to Aleena as a complete demon beforehand — I want anyone looking after him to understand what he could potentially be like on his absolute worst day! It didn’t put her off in the slightest. She was head over heels for him almost immediately, and it’s so obvious that she genuinely adores him. Aleena went completely above and beyond before I went away. She was happy to meet Reggie several times so that he could get comfortable with her, listened properly to everything I told her about his behaviour, triggers and needs, and was incredibly patient and flexible throughout. By the time I left, I genuinely felt comfortable leaving them together. This was the first holiday where I have ever truly been able to relax knowing that Reggie was being looked after. The updates were brilliant — although slightly offensive because he appeared to be having a better holiday with Aleena than he ever has with me! The biggest thing for me is that this hasn't just given me a dog sitter. Reggie has gained someone he absolutely loves, and I genuinely think he has a lifelong friend in Aleena. For me, it means I can actually have a social life and go away knowing that my boy is safe, understood and genuinely loved while I'm gone. For anyone with a rescue, reactive or more complicated dog who understands just how difficult it can be to trust somebody else with them, finding Aleena has been absolutely invaluable. I completely recommend her.”
